This month Almawarid brings a set of features requested by customers in the field: a heavy-truck parts catalogue, a deadline dashboard for accounting firms, the actual employer cost of every employee, automatic online clock-in, and a series of improvements for sales, stock, garages and construction sites.

Here is what you can use today, topic by topic.

TecParts Trucks: the heavy-truck parts catalogue

For truck parts shops, TecParts Trucks puts a heavy-truck parts catalogue covering 13 truck makes right at the counter.

  • Search by OEM reference or by manufacturer reference: with or without spaces, dashes or slashes, the part is found.
  • Equivalents: parts from other manufacturers that carry the same OEM reference are listed alongside.
  • On the shelf: Almawarid matches the catalogue against your inventory and tells you whether the part is already on your shelves.
  • Browse by make, then by family, when the customer has no reference.

TecParts Trucks is a separate module, switched on from the Marketplace. It extends TecParts for car parts shops (in French).

Practice Control: every client file's deadlines on one screen

For accounting firms (in French), the Practice Control module brings together the returns and deadlines of every client file.

  • A tax profile for each file: standard regime or IFU flat tax, monthly or quarterly G50 return, employer, self-employed.
  • The firm's filing calendar (G50, CNAS, DAS, CASNOS, IBS instalments, tax package, IFU), suggested on first opening, then adjusted and approved by the firm's principal.
  • The monthly grid: one row per file, one column per return and a status in every cell — documents awaited, entered, checked, filed, paid, not applicable. Late items stand out, including deadlines still open from previous months.
  • The per-staff view: each accountant's files, what is left for the month and the week, and what is late. Every team member sees and updates their own files.

Actual employer cost: what each employee really costs

Net pay does not tell you what an employee costs the business. The new Actual employer cost screen, in Payroll and as a tile on the Management dashboard, shows it employee by employee and month by month.

  • The payroll part is read from the payslips: gross salary, allowances outside gross pay and employer contributions, with nothing typed twice.
  • The employee's other costs are added by the manager: training, workwear and equipment, meals, transport, insurance or mutual cover, occupational health, recruitment, housing, benefits in kind.
  • The full cost of each employee, the team total and the trend over 12 months.

For a quick estimate before hiring, use the employer cost calculator (in French). See also Almawarid payroll software (in French).

Automatic online clock-in

For teams who work on a computer, time tracking (in French) now happens without anyone thinking about it.

  • Arrival is recorded on the first page opened in the day, at the exact time.
  • A “Clock out” reminder stays on screen while the working day is open.
  • Forgot to clock out? Almawarid estimates the time from the employee's last activity and marks it “estimated exit”; the manager approves or corrects it in one click.
  • Web clock-in restricted to office addresses: the manager can accept online clock-in only from the company's own internet connection.

The manager turns on automatic online clock-in in the web time-tracking settings.

Payslips shared with employees

When the employer turns on sharing, each employee finds their payslips in their personal space, under “My payslips”. They only see their own and do not need the Payroll module. No more printing payslips and handing them out one by one.

Barcode labels in small formats

Product labels now print as barcodes too, not only as QR codes, and in formats sized for small items: shoes, jewellery, accessories.

  • Thermal rolls of 40×25 mm and 30×20 mm, on top of 40×30 mm.
  • A4 sheet of 65 labels (38.1×21.2 mm), on top of the 20-label sheet.

The printed code is an EAN-13 (or EAN-8) when the item carries one, and a Code 128 otherwise, so the till recognises it when scanned. See Almawarid stock management (in French).

Veterinary practices: animal record and vaccination book

The Health module now fits veterinary clinics (in French). Choose “Veterinary practice” as the practice type and the screens talk about animals and owners.

  • A complete animal record: species, breed, coat, distinctive marks, microchip or tattoo, passport, ear tag and farm for livestock, allergies, medical history, current treatment, lifestyle, diet, behaviour, insurance.
  • The vaccination book with the booster date: the animal list shows boosters due and those coming up in the next 30 days.
  • Useful alerts: allergies and behaviour (“muzzle required”) stand out on the record, and an owner's file lists all their animals.

Sales, stock and cash: new reference points

  • Sales by item: quantities sold, amounts excluding and including tax per item over the chosen period, monthly breakdown, filter by name or reference, and Excel export. Credit notes are deducted.
  • Today's financial summary, on the manager's Management dashboard: stock value (raw materials, goods, finished products), cash (tills and bank accounts), customer receivables and supplier payables, in a single panel.
  • Out-of-stock alert when invoicing: when an item is at zero, negative or below the quantity entered, the invoice line says so. You remain free to invoice.
  • “Negative stock” filter in the stock list, with the number of items affected and a red badge on each line.

See Almawarid invoicing (in French).

Garages and workshops: a vehicle's full history

  • Invoices linked to the vehicle: the invoice for a repair order keeps the vehicle; on a direct invoice, you pick it.
  • Search by registration plate in the invoice list, with or without dashes, as well as by item or part, by period and by reference.
  • Vehicle history: its repair orders, its invoices and the parts invoiced, on one record.
  • Global search (Ctrl+K): type a plate and Almawarid opens the vehicle record.

See software for garages and car repair (in French).

Construction sites: the bill of quantities built from a quote

  • Bill of quantities (DQE) from a quote: the lines of a quote for the site's customer become the contract items (description, unit, quantity, net price excluding tax after discount), added to the bill or replacing it. No more typing everything twice.
  • Sections on measurement records: work described outside the bill of quantities carries its section, such as a unit or an area of the site; the printed measurement record shows it as a header.

See construction site management (in French).

Invoices and quotes: the manager's name under the company name

Enter the manager's first and last name in Settings → Company: they are printed under the company name on invoices, quotes, proformas and credit notes.

Frequently asked questions

What's new in Almawarid in October 2026?

TecParts Trucks for heavy-truck parts, Practice Control for accounting firms, the actual employer cost, automatic online clock-in, payslips shared with employees, small-format barcode labels, veterinary practices, sales by item, today's financial summary, vehicle history in the garage, the bill of quantities built from a quote, and the manager's name on invoices.

How do I switch on TecParts Trucks or Practice Control?

Both are separate modules: request them from the Marketplace in your Almawarid account and our team switches them on with you.

How does Almawarid work out the actual employer cost?

The payroll part (gross salary, allowances outside gross pay, employer contributions) is read from the month's payslips. The manager adds the employee's other costs: training, workwear, meals, transport, insurance, occupational health… The screen adds it all up, employee by employee, with the trend over 12 months.

How does automatic online clock-in work?

Once the manager turns the setting on, the first page an employee opens in the day records their arrival. If they forget to clock out, Almawarid estimates the time from their last activity, and the manager approves or corrects it.

Which barcode label formats can I print?

Thermal rolls of 40×30, 40×25 and 30×20 mm, and A4 sheets of 20 or 65 labels. The code is an EAN-13 or EAN-8 when the item carries one, and a Code 128 otherwise.

Can my employees see their payslips?

Yes. When the employer turns on sharing, each employee finds their own payslips in their personal space, without access to the Payroll module.
