In a club, a gym or a school, members want to pay for their coffee, drink or class without handling cash. Almawarid Loyalty points at the till give every member a points wallet: it is topped up at the counter, spent at the till, and every movement leaves a trace.
Stamp cards, a reception notebook and disputed balances
Many clubs run their perks with stamp cards or a notebook at reception. The member says ten points are left, the notebook says six, and the receptionist has no way to settle it. Favours are granted by eye, and nobody knows how many points are really in circulation.
Prepaid credit has the same problem: the member pays a sum in advance, but nothing links that payment to what they later consume at the snack bar. By month-end the till and the perks no longer reconcile, and trust wears thin on both sides of the counter.
A wallet per member, plugged into the till
Points live on the member's record, in a journal: every gain and every spend is a dated line with its reason, the person who recorded it and, where relevant, the till receipt. The balance is never typed by hand; it is read from that journal. You set what a point is worth in dinars, and the programme can credit points for every class attended, give an attendance or referral bonus, and expire the balance of a member inactive for the number of months you choose.
At the till, the cashier taps the Points tab, types the member's name or scans their badge, and sees the balance. The amount converts into points, always rounded up, except for an item that carries its own points price. If the balance is too low, the sale is refused with the exact figure; a mixed payment tops up in cash. Items flagged as shop items are always paid in money.
Four gestures at the counter
- Members: reception creates the member with name, phone and email, and can assign a badge code.
- Top up: the member buys points in advance; the till collects the top-up and credits the wallet on the same receipt.
- Points: at the till, the member pays all or part of the receipt from the balance; a cancelled receipt gives the points back.
- Wallet tracking: top-ups and spending by period and by member, points in circulation, and CSV export.
What you gain
- Balances nobody can dispute. Every point has its history, and the wallet statement prints on A4 for any member who asks.
- Cash collected in advance. Top-ups go into the till the day they are bought, before anything is consumed.
- No silent abuse. Only reception and the manager can top up or disable a wallet, and every debit carries the name of whoever recorded it.
- A wallet you can switch off. A disabled wallet allows neither top-ups nor spending until it is reactivated.
- Clear rules. Rounding is always up to the next point, and shop goods are always paid in money.
Who is it for?
Loyalty points at the till are for organisations with members and a counter: sports clubs, gyms, leisure centres, schools and training centres with a cafeteria. They rely on the Schools and training module, which holds the members, and on the Point of sale. They are switched on on request, never by default.

- Leisure centres and children's play areas

Frequently asked questions
Do I need the Schools and training module?
Yes. Points belong to the members of that module, and the till debits them. Without members, there is no wallet to debit.
Do customers earn points by buying at the till?
Not today. Points are earned through classes attended, attendance and referral bonuses, and purchased top-ups. At the till, they are spent.
How much is a point worth?
You decide in the settings: with a point worth ten dinars, an item at two hundred dinars costs twenty points. An item can also carry its own price in points.
What happens when a receipt is cancelled?
The points debited go back to the member, with a cancellation line in their journal, even if the wallet was disabled in the meantime.
Why is this module not switched on by default?
Because it changes the way you take payment: it is opened on request, once your rules are decided, point value, excluded items, reception rights.
